فصلنامه «مطالعات میانرشتهای در علوم انسانی»، نشریهای علمی _ پژوهشی است که با هدف فراهم آوردن فضایی برای گفتگوی محققانه و انتشار ماحصل پژوهشها در زمینه چشماندازها، امکانات، ظرفیتها و مقومات انجام کار آموزشی، پژوهشی و علمی میانرشتهای در حوزههای مختلف علوم، به ویژه علوم انسانی از سوی پژوهشکده مطالعات فرهنگی و اجتماعی وزارت علوم، تحقیقات و فناوری جمهوری اسلامی ایران به زبان فارسی (با چکیده انگلیسی مقالات) منتشر میشود. این فصلنامه با مفروض انگاشتن آنکه در دنیای حاضر و با توجه به پیچیدگی موضوعات پژوهشی، بسیاری از پژوهشها، در عمل ماهیتی میانرشتهای دارند، فعالیتهای خود را مشخصاً به انتشار پژوهشهایی محدود ساخته است که به مقوله «میانرشتگی» و وجوه مختلف آن بپردازند و ازاینرو، انتشار مقالاتی که یک موضوع خاص را از منظر رشتههای مختلف بررسی کرده باشند، از اولویتهای این فصلنامه خارج است. بر این اساس مقولاتی از قبیل: چیستی میانرشتگی و میانرشتهایها؛ الزامات و استلزامات میانرشتهشدن؛ تاریخچه میانرشتهای در جهان و نسبت آن با قلمرو تاریخی ما؛ تجربههای میانرشتگی در دانشگاههای ایران و جهان (بهویژه با عطف توجه به جهان اسلام و کشورهای در حال توسعه)؛ ویژگیهای بومی میانرشتگی (بهویژه در ارتباط با حلالمسائلی بودن آنها)؛ روش در میانرشتگی؛ نظریههای میانرشتگی؛ آسیبشناسی میانرشتگی و میانرشتگیها؛ تناظر میانرشتهها در آموزش و پژوهش؛ تجربههای ایرانی میانرشتهای (جدید و قدیم)؛ بررسی تخصصی آرا و اندیشههای پژوهشگران میانرشتهای؛ پیامدهای میانرشتهای برای حوزهها و نهادهای مختلف (آموزش، دین، اقتصاد، فرهنگ، جامعه، خانواده، سیاست، هنر و...)؛ میانرشتگی خارج از حوزههای آکادمیک؛ میانرشتگی و فناوری؛ فرایندهای روشی و اجرایی میانرشتگی؛ امکان ارائه تقسیمبندی علوم و معارف بر اساس مسائل و موضوعات میانرشتهای؛ دینی یا سکولار بودن میانرشتهای؛ میانرشتهای و تحول در علوم (بهویژه علوم انسانی)؛ میانرشتگی در متن مزیتها، بحرانها و چالشهای ایرانی (نخبگان، جنگ، آب، محیطزیست؛ میانرشتهای و مفاهیم مدرن (مسئولیت، تساهل، آزادی، برابری و...) در زمره مسائلی است که انتشار مقالات در این زمینهها در اولویت فصلنامه قرار دارد. در کنار همه این موضوعات، تجربه میانرشتگی اساتید و پژوهشگران ایرانی در عرصه آموزش و پژوهش و نگارش آنها در قالب مقاله در کنار دیگر مقولات بدیع و نوآورانه در این زمینه نیز مورد استقبال فصلنامه قرار میگیرد.
