La revista Ingeniería Hidráulica y Ambiental tiene el propósito de divulgar el conocimiento y contribuir al intercambio de experiencias y la comunicación entre los profesionales y técnicos de habla española. Misión Divulgación de trabajos de investigación, proyectos, experiencias y casos de estudio docentes, científicos y técnicos de la ingeniería hidráulica y ambiental en el país y en el mundo. Visión Constituirse en una revista de referencia de la Ingeniería Hidráulica en el mundo de habla hispana. Objetivos 1. Divulgar el conocimiento y la experiencia de resultados científicos originales, derivados de investigaciones y trabajos multidisciplinarios e interdisciplinarios y también de aplicaciones prácticas.2. Contribuir a la comunicación entre los profesionales de la ingeniería. La revista Ingeniería Hidráulica y Ambiental publica los siguientes tipos de documentos: Artículos originales de investigación científica y tecnológica y de innovación tecnológica Artículos de reflexión Artículos cortos o notas técnicas También se aceptan preprints, lo cual debe ser indicado por los autores cuando se envía el manuscrito para la publicación.
