Foco e Escopo Informação em Pauta (IP) é uma revista multidisciplinar da área de Ciências Sociais Aplicadas, tendo como campos prioritários a Ciência da Informação, a Biblioteconomia, a Arquivologia e outras áreas afins. É uma publicação de acesso aberto e gratuito e sem cobranças de qualquer taxa. A revista é ligada ao Departamento de Ciências da Informação e ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação da Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC). Em formato exclusivamente eletrônico, a revista publica pesquisas originais com elevado mérito científico, contribuições inéditas em português, inglês e espanhol visando contribuir para o desenvolvimento de novos conhecimentos entre pesquisadores, docentes, discentes e profissionais em Biblioteconomia, Ciência da Informação, Arquivologia e áreas afins, desde que aprovados em revisão duplo-cega por pares (double blind peer review). A Informação em Pauta exige originalidade dos artigos submetidos e que pelo menos um dos autores tenha titulação de Mestre ou de Doutor.Processo de Avaliação pelos Pares Este periódico usa em seu processo de avaliação a modalidade double blind peer review, que é a omissão das identidades de autores e revisores no parecer de originais. Os originais submetidos à revista devem atender rigorosamente aos critérios abaixo. Colaborações em desacordo serão recusadas. Todos os manuscritos a serem considerados para publicação na Informação em Pauta devem ser submetidos exclusivamente por via eletrônica. Para submeter artigos é necessário prévio cadastro através do link: http://www.periodicos.ufc.br/index.php/informacaoempauta/user/register. Para os que já possuem cadastro, somente serão aceitas submissões eletrônicas dos artigos, no seguinte endereço: http://www.periodicos.ufc.br/index.php/informacaoempauta/login. Por meio desse serviço os autores podem submeter o artigo e acompanhar o status do mesmo durante todo o processo editorial. Essa forma de submissão garante maior rapidez e segurança na submissão do seu manuscrito, agilizando o processo de avaliação. Em relação a reenvio e revisões, a revista diferencia entre: - Manuscritos que foram rejeitados; - Manuscritos que serão reavaliados após a realização das correções que forem solicitadas aos autores. No caso de reenvio, o autor é informado que seu trabalho foi rejeitado e se desejar que os editores reconsiderem tal decisão, o autor poderá fazer as alterações que julgar necessárias e reenviá-las.
