Миссия журнала «Хирургия позвоночника» – развитие потенциала российской науки, объединение усилий различных категорий исследователей, создание и поддержка единого пространства научной коммуникации в области хирургии позвоночника и смежных дисциплин. В основу политики журнала положены принципы открытости, доступности, междисциплинарного подхода, позволяющие представлять научной общественности итоги изысканий в фундаментальной и прикладной науке, которые объединены одной целью – решением актуальных проблем вертебрологии. Журнал является единственным регулярным научным информационным ресурсом в России и странах СНГ, посвященным исключительно проблемам хирургии позвоночника. На страницах журнала публикуются оригинальные статьи по фундаментальным, прикладным и экспериментальным исследованиям, посвященным актуальным проблемам хирургии позвоночника. В журнале широко представлены современные тенденции высокотехнологичного хирургического лечения заболеваний и повреждений позвоночника, новые методы диагностики и хирургической коррекции позвоночника и спинного мозга, современное теоретическое обоснование исследований относительно новых подходов к вмешательству на различных отделах позвоночного столба. Журнал содействует развитию отрасли хирургии позвоночника, профессиональной консолидации ведущих специалистов в данной отрасли, укреплению и развитию профессиональных связей и гуманитарных контактов между хирургами-вертебрологами России и зарубежья. Целевая аудитория журнала – травматологи-ортопеды, нейрохирурги, специалисты по диагностике и реабилитации, клиницисты и научные работники.
