Health Science Reports is an international, open access journal that publishes research and commentaries from across all medical and health sciences disciplines. The journal welcomes clinical studies, scientific research which has important clinical implications, as well as reports on methods and research design, health services, public health, and medical education and practice. Health Science Reports considers numerous publication types, please see our Author Guidelines for the complete list. Please note that the journal does not currently accept case reports. We encourage authors wishing to publish case reports, to consider submitting their report to Clinical Case Reports. Similarly, the journal does not tend to consider bibliometric analyses, preclinical studies using animal models or in vitro studies, unless they can show immediate clinical relevance. This is at the discretion of the editorial team. To help authors find the most appropriate home for their work, we note that submissions primarily centered on methodological or computational approaches, such as scientometric analyses, purely in‑silico or bioinformatics studies, standalone Mendelian randomization analyses, deep learning or artificial intelligence method development, mathematical or theoretical modeling, and computational algorithms without clear and validated relevance to health outcomes, are generally not a good fit for the journal and are therefore not considered for peer review. This guidance applies to both direct and transferred submissions, and we encourage authors to carefully review the journal’s aims and scope to ensure the best possible match for their research. Health Science Reports is supported by numerous journals from Wiley's health sciences portfolio and publishes research on all aspects of clinical care, public health, and epidemiology. We welcome research from disciplines across the health sciences, including: Allergy Anesthesiology Cardiology Critical Care Medicine Dermatology Endocrinology Emergency Medicine Environmental Health Ethics Gastroenterology/Hepatology Genetics and Genomics General Medicine Geriatrics Global Health Health Economics Health Informatics Health & Social Care Health Policy Hematology Immunology Infectious Diseases Medical Education Mental Health Nephrology Neurology Nutrition, Obesity, Exercise Obstetrics/Gynecology Occupational Health Oncology Ophthalmology Orthopedics Otolaryngology Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Pediatrics Pharmacology and
