Целью научно-технического журнала "Георесурсы" является создание научно-информационной площадки для обмена накопленными знаниями и профессиональным опытом между специалистами из университетов, научных центров, промышленной индустрии и государственных структур и представления самых последних результатов в области исследования и сохранения недр Земли, разведки и разработки природных ресурсов. Георесурсы - журнал открытого доступа, статьи доступны читателям на сайте журнала без финансовых и технических ограничений. В журнале публикуются оригинальные научные статьи, краткие сообщения, дискуссионные статьи, материалы конференций, обзорные статьи по проблемам развития и освоения минерально-сырьевой базы углеводородов и твердых полезных ископаемых.
