Журнал “Геология и геофизика Юга России” является периодическим рецензируемым научным изданием, публикующим оригинальные статьи и обзоры, посвященные результатам геологических и геофизических исследований на Юге России и соседних территориях Кавказа (Разделы журнала).. Целью журнала является консолидация сообщества академических и вузовских ученых на основе принципов научности и профессионализма, активное вовлечение международной аудитории в исследование и обсуждение геолого-геофизических научных проблем региона, развитие международного сотрудничества на Кавказе, представление результатов исследований региона для доступной международной аудитории. Журнал принимает к публикации оригинальные статьи с изложением новых научных результатов, краткие сообщения, содержащие информацию о важных результатах предварительных исследований, обзоры печатных работ по актуальным геолого-геофизическим и экологическим проблемам Юга России и прилегающих территорий.
