Научно-теоретический и практический журнал "Гений ортопедии" посвящен памяти выдающегося ученого, врача-новатора, академика Российской Академии наук, почетного члена многих зарубежных академий, профессора Г.А. Илизарова. В журнале публикуются научные статьи, обзоры литературы, клинические наблюдения, пилотные исследования, новые технологии по научной специальности "травматологи и ортопедия". Публикуемые результаты фундаментальных и прикладных научных исследований основаны на принципах доказательной медицины. Редакционная коллегия приветствует интеграцию научных исследований – слияние исследовательских потоков, взаимодействие различных научных школ и направлений.
