El objetivo de la revista Forum es publicar artículos inéditos en español, inglés y portugués, que presenten resultados de investigación en ciencia política, derecho, relaciones internacionales y disciplinas afines, sobre la realidad política local y nacional. Procurando articular los debates académicos con las diversas dinámicas y problemáticas sociales y políticas contemporáneas. La revista Forum está dirigida a académicos nacionales e internacionales interesados en estudios teóricos y empíricos de ciencia política, derecho, relaciones internacionales y disciplinas afines. La revista es una publicación semestral (enero-junio y julio-diciembre), se publicó por primera vez en enero de 2011 bajo la fundación y dirección del profesor Gerardo Antonio Durango de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y Económicas-Departamento de Ciencia Política de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, sede Medellín.
