Lo scopo della rivista è di porsi come strumento di ricerca teorico-filosofica, concentrandosi su due punti di forza: il rigore scientifico e l’interesse per tutti i problemi, i metodi, gli ambiti e gli approcci sviluppati nel seno della tradizione filosofica. Convinzione della rivista è che oggigiorno la filosofia, così come altre discipline scientifiche, vada incontro a un processo di continua specializzazione. Questo processo richiede a studiosi e ricercatori la capacità di affrontare in maniera rigorosa la sottile e complessa analisi micrologica, senza tuttavia rinunciare agli sguardi generali e d’insieme propri della grande tradizione metafisica. La rivista si propone quindi di offrire un’ampia e sorvegliata indagine di qualsiasi aspetto della realtà che possa essere filosoficamente interrogato, in modo tale da cercare di comprendere la nostra epoca con una maggiore chiarezza concettuale. Ogni numero propone una sezione tematica tramite call for papers e una sezione di varia. “Filosofia” accetta contributi nelle principali lingue europee, selezionandoli tramite un rigoroso processo di double-blind peer-review.
