Fashion Highlight is an academic journal dedicated to research in the field of fashion design, with a perspective that investigates both the conception, design, production and communication of the fashion product, and its cultural, aesthetic and technological implications. Fashion is a constantly evolving sector, capable of reflecting and influencing the transformations of society through design, innovation and experimentation. The journal welcomes studies that explore fashion design in its many forms: from the design and production of fabrics, garments and accessories, to the analysis of applied materials and technologies, to connections with related disciplines that enrich the sector, such as communication, economics and social sciences. Although rooted in the field of fashion design, Fashion Highlight recognises the value of transdisciplinary intersections, welcoming contributions that broaden the understanding of fashion as a cultural, economic and technological phenomenon.
