Education has an impact on, and is impacted by, every area of our lives - economic, health, culture, peace, environment, equality and inclusion. It leads to economic growth and social justice, sustainable living, meaningful employment and healthier people. The European Journal of Education (EJED) has new and expanded Aims and Scope from January 2024 to reflect the benefits and challenges of education across all ages worldwide. We support the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal No.4: Quality Education which strives to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and to promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. As such, we aspire to make an impact within and beyond academia. We welcome various article types and methodologies, and value good scientific practice. Although we began as a European journal, our scope is now broad, international and multidisciplinary. We warmly welcome research from anywhere in the world. We cover all areas of educational research. EJED is an "author-friendly" journal. We do not measure ourselves on a ‘rejection rate’. You do not need to reformat your manuscript to submit your paper to us. If you’re accepted, we’ll do it for you.
