The EJSS is therefore a platform for multi-thematic reflections from a broad variety of topic areas, using a wide range of theoretical approaches and empirical methods. However, papers that focus upon recreation, and/ or upon embodied movement cultures are also welcome. The journal welcomes sociological approaches to understanding sport, as well as papers from socio-psychological, political and economic perspectives that emphasize the socio-cultural significance of sport in all its guises. Peer Review Policy The European Journal for Sport and Society is an international peer-reviewed journal which publishes original research contributions to social scientific knowledge from across the world.
