The European Heart Journal - Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (EHJ-CVP) is an official, international, peer-reviewed journal of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the ESC Working Group on Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy. The journal is dedicated to advancing clinical cardiovascular pharmacology and therapeutics. EHJ-CVP publishes original research on both novel and established drugs, including randomized clinical trials, observational, real-world and population studies, clinical research methodology, pharmacovigilance and cardiovascular drug safety, pharmacoeconomics, cardiovascular drug modelling, meta-analyses and state-of-the-art reviews. EHJ-CVP aims to advance pharmacological knowledge and improve patient care through innovation, scientific rigor, and international collaboration. While the primary focus is on clinical pharmacology, EHJ-CVP also welcomes high-quality translational research articles that contribute to the understanding and advancement of cardiovascular drug therapy. By integrating advances in pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, pharmacogenomics, drug–drug interactions, and early-phase development, the journal bridges bench and bedside to improve cardiovascular pharmacology. Through scientific leadership and global engagement, EHJ-CVP strives to define standards, inform guidelines, and advance personalized, evidence-based cardiovascular pharmacotherapy.
