Scope ESPOCH Congresses: The Ecuadorian Journal of S.T.E.A.M. is an Open Access journal, established by Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo (ESPOCH) in 2021 to collect and showcase groundbreaking research in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) disciplines produced by Ecuadorian researchers. The journal contains a series of special issues, each based around one of ESPOCH’s annual conferences. The journal provides a forum for researchers, teachers and students to exchange new research and methodologies in S.T.E.A.M. disciplines. It contributes to the generation of new initiatives and dissemination of scientific developments amongst national and international academic communities, and supports ESPOCH’s goal to identify and solve social, scientific, and technological issues facing Ecuador and the wider region. Articles are typically 4,000 words and fit within one of the S.T.E.A.M. disciplines. Subjects covered by this journal include Technological Engineering; Basic Sciences; Agricultural Sciences; Health Sciences; Life and Environmental Sciences; Social and Administrative Sciences. At present, submissions must be linked with one of the ESPOCH Congresses, and can cover any area of the S.T.E.A.M. subject fields. Each article undergoes double blind peer review by members of the Scientific Committee and Editorial Board to rigorously evaluate the quality of submissions. The journal publishes 6-8 issues per year and is bilingual (English and Spanish). Congresos ESPOCH: La Revista Ecuatoriana de S.T.I.A.M. es una nueva revista de Acceso Abierto, establecida por la Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo (ESPOCH) en 2021 para recopilar y exhibir investigaciones innovadoras en disciplinas de Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería, Artes y Matemáticas (S.T.I.A.M.) producidas por investigadores ecuatorianos. La revista contiene una serie de números especiales, cada uno basado en una de las conferencias anuales de ESPOCH y compuesto por artículos de las investigaciones originales derivados de los trabajos presentados en el evento. La revista proporciona un foro para intercambiar nuevas metodologías e investigaciones en S.T.I.A.M. entre investigadores, profesores y estudiantes.
