La revista acoge trabajos inéditos de investigación y debates sobre Historia del Arte, en especial artículos que constituyan una aportación novedosa a la interpretación de los objetos de estudio planteados y sus aproximaciones o enfoques metodológicos, que enriquezcan el campo de investigación que abordan en un sentido amplio, más allá de la singularidad de un caso particular, y que ofrezcan una perspectiva de análisis crítico, tanto de ámbito nacional e internacional, y en lengua española o extranjera (preferiblemente en inglés). ETFVII sólo admite trabajos originales e inéditos que no hayan sido publicados, ni vayan a serlo, en otra publicación, independientemente de la lengua en la que ésta se edite, tanto de manera parcial como total. Composición de la revista La revista está compuesta por dos secciones, una miscelánea de artículos y un dossier temático de trabajos recibidos por invitación o a través de call for papers, todos sometidos a evaluación externa. Adicionalmente la revista podrá incluir reseñas de libros, que serán evaluadas por el consejo de redacción. Dossiers temáticos Cada número de la revista contará con un dossier temático seleccionado por el consejo de redacción tras un call for dossiers abierto a grupos de investigación. Este dossier temático se conformará por artículos de miembros del grupo de investigación (en un máximo del 40% de los textos) y por artículos originales recibidos tras un call for papers temático elaborado por el/la editor/a invitado/a del dossier. La elección de los artículos recibidos a través del call for papers estará a cargo del editor/a invitado/a del dossier, con la colaboración de las editoras de la revista. Todos los artículos del dossier, salvo la introducción, se someterán al proceso habitual de evaluación por pares.
