La revista ETF Serie I se orienta a la publicación de resultados y novedades de la investigación, así como artículos que sean producto de la reflexión teórico-metodológica en Prehistoria y Arqueología, abarcando cualquier aspecto de interés sobre la cultura material y el patrimonio arqueológico, con un enfoque multidisciplinar y abierto, que responde a la propia estructura e intereses científicos del Departamento de Prehistoria y Arqueología de la UNED. En especial, tienen cabida artículos que constituyan una aportación novedosa, que enriquezcan el campo de investigación que abordan, o que ofrezcan una perspectiva de análisis crítico, de ámbito nacional e internacional, y en lengua española o extranjera (preferiblemente en inglés). ETF. Serie I sólo admite trabajos originales e inéditos que no hayan sido publicados ni admitidos para su publicación parcial o total en otro medio, en su lengua original o en otra diferente. Secciones 1) Artículos científicos. Trabajos originales de investigación o reflexión, con una extensión máxima de 90.000 caracteres (40 páginas) (normas). Se ordenarán cronológicamente según la temática, pero se publicarán conforme sean aceptados en la revista. Serán sometidos a evaluación por pares. 2) Noticiario y proyectos: Presentación de hallazgos relevantes y proyectos de investigación en curso, con una extensión máxima de 11000 caracteres (5 páginas) (normas). No obstante, se admiten distintas posibilidades de formatos, incluidos enlaces a vídeos, modelos 3D, etc. 3) Recensiones. Comentarios críticos de monografías de reciente publicación y de especial interés científico y académico, con una extensión máxima de 9000 caracteres (4 páginas) (normas). 4) Dossier temático. De manera bienal se publicará una sección dedicada en exclusividad a un tema específico con una serie de artículos invitados (normas). Los temas de los Dosieres serán propuestos y evaluados por el Consejo de Redacción de la revista. No obstante, el envío de propuestas de coordinación de dossieres está abierto a cualquier investigador/a interesado. Todos los artículos serán sometidos a evaluación por pares.
