Журнал «Epistemological studies in Philosophy, Social and Political Sciences» публікує результати сучасних епістемологічних досліджень в галузі філософських, соціальних і політичних наук, що проводяться в Україні та за її межами. Основними цілями журналу є: репрезентація результатів епістемологічних досліджень та подання інформації про актуальну проблематику сучасних наукових досліджень і досягнення вчених; сприяння підвищенню якості підготовки фахівців; консолідація спільноти вчених на основі принципів науковості, професіоналізму, універсалізму; формування і розвиток перспективних наукових напрямків. Завдання видання: відображення результатів науково-дослідної та науково-практичної діяльності в області філософії, соціології, політології; формування відкритої наукової полеміки, що сприяє підвищенню якості наукових досліджень; розширення сфери об'єктивного знання; забезпечення гласності, відкритості та безкорисливості в відображенні наукової проблематики.
