La Revista Ensayos Pedagógicos es un proyecto editorial semestral de publicación continua de la División de Educología del Centro de Investigación y Docencia en Educación (CIDE) dirigido a la comunidad educativa nacional e internacional. Su objetivo es la difusión de ensayos, artículos e investigaciones que, desde una perspectiva crítica y emancipatoria, aborden temas atinentes a la educación y la pedagogía en cualquiera de sus especialidades y que analicen distintos aspectos de la realidad socioeducativa costarricense, la latinoamericana o la universal. Ensayos Pedagógicos contribuye a la construcción conjunta del conocimiento y de discursos alternativos que nos orientan para mejorar nuestras prácticas y realidades socioeducativas, pero sobre todo para transformar nuestra visión del mundo.
