A proposta é contemplar a diversidade temática e a intersecção entre as áreas científica e tecnológica, as quais oportunizarão: a divulgação de diferentes abordagens teóricas; o aprofundamento do campo conceitual pela construção do debate; a apresentação de práticas investigativas em diferentes perspectivas didático-pedagógicas desenvolvidas em pesquisas; e o debate teórico-metodológico atualizado. Tal dinâmica pretende criar na produção de cada número o ambiente científico convergente à sistematização da produção e fomentar o diálogo entre pesquisas em diferentes realidades sócio-culturais, contando com a contribuição de pesquisadores de diferentes regiões e nacionalidades, sem que haja a dissociação com projetos locais, nacionais e internacionais que visem ao desenvolvimento das áreas. Assim, a Revista EM TEIA busca minimizar a carência de periódicos nesta área específica, particularmente quanto à produção iberoamericana, abrindo este espaço de publicação da produção dos pesquisadores e de promoção do debate pela comunidade científica. Fazemos, por fim, o convite à leitura e à participação na Revista como foco na sua proposta: a criação de redes de contato e de intercâmbios na produção científica e tecnológica, teias que se entrecruzam e tematizam a pesquisa e a ação pedagógica em interdisciplinaridade, ancoradas, ainda, na reflexão sobre o contexto sócio-cultural e político que por meio de códigos, representações e símbolos alicerçam os principais debates que circulam em torno de questões do campo da Educação Matemática e da Educação Tecnológica.
