Elementa. Filosofie e Storie della Filosofia. Philosophies and Histories of Philosophy, picking up the threads of the first three issues of the journal Elementa. Intersections between Philosophy, Epistemology, and Empirical Perspectives, on the one hand, wishes to continue to be a critical space for re-establishing what the philosophical tradition has rigidified, restoring philosophy to its original nature as a plural, dialogical, and situated practice. On the other, it seeks to pluralize traditions of thought — Western and non-Western — and their histories. The importance of Elementa lies in its ability to shift the focus: no longer a history of philosophy constructed around a Eurocentric axis, but a constellation of genealogies, concepts, forms of rationality, and discursive practices emerging from diverse cultural contexts. This is not a simple expansion of the repertoire, but an epistemological gesture: recognizing that thought is never neutral, that every tradition arises from specific historical, linguistic, and material conditions, and that only by relating these conditions is it possible to understand the global scope of philosophical questions and their cultural and creative pluralism. This journal does not charge APCs or submission charges. ______ Elementa.
