Ekonomiaz es una revista semestral editada por el Departamento de Departamento de Economía, Trabajo y Empleo del Gobierno Vasco que tiene por objetivo fomentar el análisis y el debate económico con un enfoque regional y especial atención al campo aplicado a la economía vasca. Para el cumplimiento de este objetivo se marca tres líneas de trabajo: 1) la promoción de la investigación teórica y aplicada, con especial atención a los ámbitos de la Economía, las Instituciones y la Administración del Sector Público; 2) la divulgación de calidad de los resultados obtenidos en las áreas que cultiva; y 3) la contribución a la mejora de la racionalidad del proceso de toma de decisiones públicas en materia económica, facilitando explicaciones, fundamentos y datos para respaldar el diseño, la ejecución y la evaluación de las políticas económicas de las administraciones públicas y de la vasca en particular.
