Eirene Estudios de Paz y Conflictos es una publicación en línea con periodicidad semestral y a partir del Vol. 9 núm. 17 de modalidad continua, dedicada a difundir resultados de investigaciones sobre la paz y los conflictos con el objetivo de contribuir al fortalecimiento de la cultura de la paz; desde la investigación del conflicto y su naturaleza, la paz y su evolución, la promoción de una educación para la paz y el estudio de los derechos humanos, los mecanismos alternativos de solución de controversias y otras áreas y disciplinas interrelacionadas, se pretende aportar a la divulgación de conocimiento básico y aplicado en un entorno transdisciplinar que nos permite abordar el estudio de la paz y los conflictos desde diversos ámbitos científicos que contribuyen a fortalecer las perspectivas teóricas existentes y a generar propuestas nuevas a través de la aplicación del conocimiento en la investigación social.
