Eikasía busca desarrollar la tradición filosófica racionalista de raigambre académica a través del debate riguroso. Eikasía publica artículos que abordan todas las áreas de la filosofía sin limitarse a ningún campo o escuela filosófica en particular, aunque preste especial atención a la filosofía escrita en español sin por ello renunciar a publicar en otros idiomas. La revista pretende llegar tanto al público académico como a los lectores simplemente interesados en la filosofía. Eikasía quiere recoger los debates sobre las tendencias del pensamiento del momento, así como los trabajos más puramente históricos que revelen las conexiones entre las diferentes tradiciones filosóficas.
