AIMS Economica: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes rigorous theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented research in the field of Islamic economics and business. The journal seeks to explore diverse perspectives that contribute to the advancement of Islamic economic principles, business practices, and the global development of economies through an Islamic framework. Distinctively, the journal gives editorial priority to research examining how Islamic economic theory, institutions, and practices respond to contemporary economic challenges and the global sustainability agenda. The journal places special emphasis on the dynamic relationship between Islam and the economy, encouraging research that examines how Islamic teachings engage with wealth distribution, social justice, and poverty alleviation as fundamental elements of inclusive welfare. Examining these interactions, the journal aims to highlight the unique contributions of Islamic economic thought to global economic discourse. SCOPE The journal actively solicits and prioritizes original contributions within the following interconnected focus areas: Foundations of Islamic Economic Science: methodology of Islamic economics; Islamic economic thought; the development of Islamic economics as a scientific discipline. Islamic Political Economy, Public Policy, and Development Economics: social protection and poverty alleviation; fiscal and monetary policy; governance and regulation of the Islamic economy. Islamic Economic Institutions and Behavior: halal industry development; Islamic entrepreneurship and business ethics; behavioral Islamic economics and finance. Islamic Social Finance and Inclusive Development: zakat-waqf economics, innovation in zakat, infaq, and waqf governance; financial inclusion and Islamic microfinance. Islamic Digital Economy and Financial Technology: Islamic FinTech and crowdfunding; blockchain and artificial intelligence applications in Shariah-compliant finance. Islamic Sustainable Finance and Green Economy: ESG-Shariah integration; green and sustainable finance from an Islamic framework.
