e-balonmano Com, Journal of Sports Science es una revista científica internacional, de acceso abierto y revisión por pares, coeditada por el Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Extremadura y la Federación Extremeña de Balonmano. La revista se publica exclusivamente en formato electrónico y tiene como finalidad difundir investigación original, rigurosa y relevante en el ámbito de las ciencias de la actividad física, el deporte y la educación física. La revista publica trabajos científicos que contribuyan al avance del conocimiento en el estudio del deporte, el ejercicio físico, la actividad física y la educación física, tanto en contextos de rendimiento como de formación, salud, inclusión, recreación y gestión deportiva. Se aceptan manuscritos en español, inglés y portugués, aunque se recomienda especialmente la presentación de trabajos en inglés cuando su temática tenga proyección internacional. La revista tiene una periodicidad cuatrimestral, con tres números al año: enero-abril, mayo-agosto y septiembre-diciembre.
