Specifically, it covers the following fields: pharmacogenetics, pharmacogenomics and drug metabolism research, dealing with established, new and potential drugs, herbal medicinal products, environmentally toxic chemicals, the mechanisms by which drugs and herbsc an interact with each other and with biological systems, and the pharmacological and toxicological consequencesof these interactions, as well as drug metabolism and excretion. More generally, it is concerned with the area of therapeutic individualization, particularly on the basis of pharmacogenetics, with regards to the use of pharmaceuticals and herbal medicine, including traditional medicine.DMPT is an online only journal that is published quarterly. All contributions submitted for publication in DMPT are subject to single-anonymized peer review by at least two experts in the field, selected and invited by the Editor-in-Chief and a dedicated Editorial Team.
