Diyala Journal of Engineering Sciences (DJES) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal that provides a forum for researchers, scholars, and practitioners to publish high-quality scholarly work within the engineering sciences. DJES is a quarterly journal published by the University of Diyala – College of Engineering and aims to support the dissemination of valuable scientific results from national and international institutions. The main scope of the journal is to publish original research articles, review articles, and case studies within the journal’s declared engineering subject areas. DJES welcomes contributions that report new developments, advanced methods, experimental findings, numerical investigations, theoretical studies with clear engineering relevance, and applied research that contributes to engineering knowledge and practice. DJES is not restricted to a single engineering discipline. It welcomes regular submissions within its declared aims and scope, particularly in civil engineering, mechanical and materials engineering, electrical, electronics and computer engineering, and chemical engineering. While the journal encourages a broad spectrum of contributions in engineering sciences, its core interest lies in issues related to materials modeling and material/structural response. Interdisciplinary articles are particularly welcome when they fall clearly within the journal’s engineering scope. The primary goal of the editorial team is to maintain a high standard of scientific quality while ensuring an efficient, fair, and timely publication process. Manuscripts sent for review are anonymized by removing the authors’ identifying information in order to support the objectivity and fairness of the double-blind peer-review process. Articles devoted purely to mathematical aspects without a clear discussion of the physical implications of the results or without specific engineering examples are discouraged. Articles concerning materials science should not be limited merely to the description and recording of observations, but should include theoretical, experimental, numerical, or quantitative discussion of the results and their engineering significance. The journal accepts research articles, review articles, and case studies. DJES does not publish special issues, thematic issues, or selected papers from conferences. Submissions have been accepted only in English since 2018. The editors reserve the right to reject manuscript
