Hukum Tata Negara dan Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM): Lingkup ini akan menganalisis berbagai persoalan konstitusional dan Hak Asasi Manusia, misalnya, judicial review, disharmonisasi hukum, perselisihan antar lembaga negara, serta pelanggaran hak warga negara. Hukum Administrasi dan Pemerintahan: Isu yang ingin dibahas adalah tentang kebijakan pemerintah, konflik muncul karena dikeluarkannya suatu kebijakan pemerintah. Hukum Lingkungan: Perdebatan tentang perlunya, keadilan, dan biaya regulasi lingkungan sedang berlangsung, demikian pula mengenai kesesuaian regulasi, solusi pasar untuk mencapai bahkan tujuan yang disepakati. Hukum Pertanahan dan Properti: Hukum properti adalah bidang hukum yang mengatur berbagai bentuk kepemilikan properti riil (tanah) dan properti pribadi. Hukum Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI) dan Teknologi Informasi: Era globalisasi telah membawa ke dunia tanpa batas. Ia telah membuat suatu perubahan hukum dalam masyarakat. Dampak teknologi telah mengembangkan nilai dan norma di antara orang-orang di dunia. Masalah itu perlu disikapi melalui alasan-alasan ilmiah. Hukum Internasional: Sistem perjanjian dan perjanjian antar negara yang mencakup bagaimana negara berkomunikasi dengan negara lain, warga negara lain, dan bisnis negara lain. Hukum Islam: Hukum Allah (syariah) akan menghadapi beberapa tantangan dalam perkembangan saat ini dan masa depan. Pembelajaran tentang hukum Islam secara historis juga perlu dipertimbangkan sebagai salah satu cara untuk mengatasi masalah saat ini dan masa depan terkait dengan hukum Islam, misalnya: ekonomi dan keuangan syariah (perbankan, asuransi, zakat, wakaf), sistem peradilan pidana Islam, hukum keluarga islam, dll. Teori Hukum, Metodologi, Ideologi: Sebagaimana banyak persoalan fikih kontemporer, muncul perdebatan tentang metodologi yang akan digunakan yang nantinya akan menghasilkan keadilan, apakah sudah dilakukan dengan baik atau tidak. Alternatif Penyelesaian Sengketa dan Arbitrase (ADR): ADR adalah proses litigasi di luar pengadilan. ADR biasanya terdiri dari evaluasi netral, negosiasi, rekonsiliasi, mediasi, dan arbitrasi.
