A Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente (DMA) é um periódico bilíngue de acesso aberto do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento da UFPR, fundada em 2000. Indexada na Web of Science, Scopus e outras bases de dados, a DMA tem alcance internacional e é um veículo científico tradicional e altamente conceituado em sua área na América Latina e nos países lusófonos. Seu foco é a discussão interdisciplinar de problemáticas na interface entre sociedade e natureza, buscando uma abordagem inovadora e crítica, onde diferentes áreas do conhecimento dialoguem. Seus objetivos são publicar e divulgar amplamente artigos originais de qualidade sobre temas socioambientais, dirigidos ao público acadêmico, mas de interesse também para leitores de fora da academia, como órgãos de governo, organizações da sociedade civil, entidades do movimento social, e segmentos empresariais.
