Breve Histórico O periódico DELTA: Documentação de estudos em linguística teórica e aplicada é publicado pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Linguistica Aplicada e Estudos da Linguagem (LAEL) da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo; PUCSP). O periódico é publicado regularmente desde 1985, em quatro números anuais. Em 2011 passou a ser publicado apenas online e desde 2021 vem se adaptando a práticas de ciência aberta, seguindo o modelo open Science green. Autores devem se referir ao periódico como DELTA. Acesso Aberto Este periódico segue o modelo de Acesso Aberto (Open Acess), permitindo o acesso virtual, sem restrição (incluindo restrições financeiras), a todos os textos científicos publicados pelo periódico. Acesso aberto é a condição em que o detentor dos direitos autorais de um trabalho acadêmico concede direitos de uso a terceiros usando uma licença aberta (Creative Commons Attribution, CC-BY), permitindo acesso gratuito imediato ao trabalho e autorizando qualquer usuário a ler, baixar, copiar, distribuir, imprimir, pesquisar ou vincular os textos completos dos artigos, rastreá-los para indexação, passá-los como dados para software ou usá-los para qualquer outra finalidade legal. Conformidade com a Ciência Aberta Este periódico segue o modelo open Science Green. A partir de fevereiro de 2024 todos os autores deverão acessar o Formulário sobre Conformidade com a Ciência Aberta e submetê-lo juntamente com o manuscrito, para que o processo de avaliação por pares possa ter início. Ética na publicação O periódico DELTA apoia as práticas do COPE. O periódico não aceita pesquisas originais elaboradas por seus editores, para que não haja conflito de interesses. Adota políticas para o uso de inteligência artificial na elaboração dos manuscritos, descritas ao final das normas para apresentação de trabalhos, e utiliza ferramentas como a Turnitin para a detecção de plágio e autoplágio, ao final do processo de avaliação por pares e antes da publicação do trabalho no site SciELO Preprints. Trabalhos que envolvam pesquisas com seres humanos devem submeter aprovação pelo comitê de ética da Plataforma Brasil ou comitês internacionais de reconhecimento oficial, juntamente com o manuscrito. Foco e Escopo O periódico destina-se a todas as áreas de conhecimento a respeito da linguagem, teóricas ou aplicadas. Apenas contribuições inéditas serão consideradas.
