Debates y perspectivas de un mundo en cambio”, es una publicación pluralista de carácter académico orientada a la difusión de la problemática de los Estudios Culturales y de otras perspectivas teóricas de las Ciencias Sociales que abordan el estudio de la Cultura. Esta publicación depende del Centro de Investigaciones en Estudios Culturales, Educativos, Históricos y Comunicacionales (CIECEHC) que tiene como objetivo dar la voz a un campo de conocimiento, el de los Estudios Culturales en el marco de la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral. Historial de la revista Creada como una revista de divulgación en su primera época, transcurrida entre los años 1999 y 2003, publicó artículos relacionados a los aportes de los Estudios Culturales, cuestiones de género, comunicación, educación, temas históricos como la conquista y la nación. Asimismo se abordaron problemáticas como la identidad, el multiculturalismo el cine y la imagen. En el año 2011 se convoca a participar con colaboraciones de artículos y reseñas orientados por un eje temático propuesto por el Consejo de Redacción de la Revista. De esta manera, a partir de la publicación de Culturas N°5, comienza el desarrollo de su segunda época, perfilándose como una revista con carácter académico. Para ello se previó un rediseño, pautando nuevas secciones y destacando su inscripción disciplinaria en el campo de los Estudios Culturales y las Ciencias Sociales, determinando ejes temáticos para cada número de la publicación y conservando el interés por difundir las investigaciones y producciones culturales latinoamericanas, argentinas y santafesinas en todos sus aspectos. Proceso de evaluación por pares Los trabajos estarán sujetos a una primera revisión de la Dirección de la revista y del Consejo de Redacción, para corroborar la pertinencia temática y sus contenidos académicos y formales. Luego de esta primera instancia, los trabajos que cumplan con estos requisitos son sometidos a arbitraje externo antes de ser aceptados para su publicación, a través del proceso de revisión por pares de “doble referato ciego”.
