La revista Cuaderno de Trabajo Social (CDTS) es una publicación semestral, editada por el departamento de Trabajo Social de la Facultad de Humanidades y Tecnologías de la Comunicación Social de la Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana. Fue creada el año 2006 en versión impresa y desde el 2010 se presenta en formato electrónico. Es una publicación que difunde conocimientos en ciencias sociales en general, enfocados en temáticas sociales complejas en contextos iberoamericanos, que fomenten un diálogo crítico desde una perspectiva académica/científica. CDTS tiene como fin publicar contribuciones originales, que favorezcan la reflexión entre investigadores, actualizadas y pertinentes a los escenarios actuales. Para ello se reciben estudios empíricos (cuantitativos o cualitativos); estudios teóricos o de revisión (históricos, filosóficos, etc.); ensayos; comunicaciones breves; editoriales y reseñas de libros. Las principales áreas de interés son, las investigaciones vinculadas a lo social desde los campos del trabajo social, la educación, la psicología, la sociología, la antropología y los estudios culturales, territoriales y medioambientales. La revista tiene una cobertura internacional y está dirigida a un público especializado en estas materias.
