A Revista Conhecer: Debate entre o Público e o Privado, criada em janeiro de 2011, é vinculada ao Grupo de Pesquisa do CNPq Políticas Sociais, Trabalho e Cidadania e ao Programa Profissional em Planejamento e Políticas Públicas da Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE). A revista tem por objetivo promover a difusão, o intercâmbio e o debate acadêmico no campo do Planejamento e das Políticas Públicas, com ênfase nos temas avaliação de políticas públicas, políticas sociais, Estado, democracia, governança e outros assuntos correlatos que contribuam para o desenvolvimento da epistemologia da Ciência Política. Trata-se de uma publicação de acesso aberto, gratuita para autores e leitores, de caráter interdisciplinar, voltada à divulgação de pesquisas inéditas por meio de artigos de professores, pesquisadores, profissionais e estudantes, produzidas no âmbito da graduação e da pós-graduação, no Brasil e no exterior, com foco na área de Planejamento e Políticas Públicas. Até 2025, a revista teve periodicidade semestral, com edições publicadas nos meses de janeiro e agosto. A partir de 2026, a Revista Conhecer passa a adotar o sistema de publicação em fluxo contínuo, com o objetivo de conferir maior celeridade ao processo de divulgação científica e ampliar a circulação do conhecimento produzido em sua área de atuação.
