A revista Colóquio, desde 2002, era editada pela FACCAT, na forma impressa (ISSN 1678-9059). Desde a edição v.9, n. 2, de 2012, a COLÓQUIO - Revista do Desenvolvimento Regional passou a ser editada também na forma eletrônica (ISSN 2318-180X). A partir da edição v.14, n. 2, de 2017, buscando reduzir custos e o tempo do processo entre a submissão de artigos e a publicação, a revista descontinuou a publicação da versão impressa e passou a publicar apenas a sua versão eletrônica (ISSN 2318-180X). A partir da edição v.17, n.1, jan./mar. de 2020 a periodicidade passou a ser trimestral e a partir da edição v.23, n.1, jan./dez. de 2026 a revista passou a ser publicada anualmente, em fluxo contínuo.
