Aims, scope and focus
Kwartalnik „Colloquium" ukazuje się od 2009 r. jako recenzowane czasopismo naukowe poświęcone szeroko pojętej problematyce edukacyjnej, filozoficzno-społecznej, kulturowej, badań nad bezpieczeństwem jak i politologicznej. Wiodącą w czasopiśmie dyscypliną naukową, wg aktualnej klasyfikacji, jest pedagogika oraz nauki o polityce i administracji (w ramach dziedziny nauk społecznych). Połączenie pedagogiki, stosunków międzynarodowych i bezpieczeństwa nie jest częste. Pokazuje to specyfikę publikacji, w których znajdują się treści na pograniczu przywództwa i wychowania, obywatelskości, dowodzenia, społecznych aspektów sił zbrojnych czy militarnych aspektów stosunków międzynarodowych. Nie są one dominujące, ale tworzą przestrzeń, w której nasz tytuł chce się rozwijać. Głównym celem czasopisma jest wspieranie wysokiej jakości komunikacji naukowej o krajowym i międzynarodowym zasięgu, podejmującej kwestie społeczne i cywilizacyjne, takie jak obywatelstwo, przywództwo, sprawy wojskowe, dyplomacja oraz społeczne aspekty funkcjonowania sił zbrojnych. Zachęcamy do publikacji zarówno badań teoretycznych, jak i empirycznych, a także prac o charakterze interdyscyplinarnym, łączących edukację, stosunki międzynarodowe i bezpieczeństwo.
