Aims, scope and focus
Clío: Revista de Historia, Ciencias Humanas y Pensamiento Crítico; es un órgano de difusión periódica de investigaciones arbitradas de alcance internacional adscrita a Ediciones Clío, La Academia de la Historia del estado Zulia , Centro Zuliano de Investigaciones Genealógicas. Su objetivo es difundir las investigaciones y reflexiones que se hacen desde las Ciencias Humanas abordando problemáticas sociales desde distintas áreas del estudio como la Filosofía, Historia, Educación, Ciencias Políticas, Antropología, Sociología siempre bajo una perspectiva crítica. Su naturaleza es interdisciplinaria de manera que aparte de publicar artículos; permite la incorporación de otras secciones o apartados para conferencias, ensayos, entrevistas, escritos sobre arte y artistas, textos de carácter histórico, jurídico, acuerdos, declaraciones, reseñas de libros y medios audiovisuales; entre otros. Su publicación es semestral por año y número; cada número está conformado por artículos sobre temas en cada una de las áreas de sus competencias. La revista tiene como compromiso ofrecer un puente de comunicación entre los diferentes enfoques y propuestas de investigación en el sentido de generar un debate ante las complejidades del saber y el hacer social entre las ciencias humanas, permitiendo críticas constructivas pues consideramos que la ciencia tiene que ser constantemente interpelada ya que su naturaleza no es estática sino que está continio movimiento.
