La revista Cirugía Paraguaya es el órgano Oficial de difusión de la Sociedad Paraguaya de Cirugía, disponible en formato impreso y en línea. La publicación difunde trabajos de investigación generados por profesionales del área de salud, de investigación clínica, experimental y de Salud Pública; su periodicidad es cuatrimestral con un volumen anual. La revista Cirugía Paraguaya se reserva todos los derechos sobre los artículos publicados. Para la detección de plagios utiliza el programa plagius. Aceptación de los artículos El proceso de aceptación de los artículos remitidos implica la evaluación previa por pares (peer review) en dos procesos: Primera revisión: está a cargo del Editor en Jefe y Comité Editorial. En esta primera etapa se evalúa la pertinencia y profundidad del trabajo y su consonancia con la línea editorial de la Revista y el cumplimiento de los criterios generales de publicación. Segunda revisión: está a cargo de un mínimo de dos especialistas nacionales o internacionales de la especialidad del tema tratado en cada artículo remitido; de existir dictamenes contradictorios, se solicita una tercera opinión. El material enviado será analizado para su publicación por el Consejo de Redacción y los Árbitros Externos. La revisión se realizará en forma anónima, tanto para los revisores como para los autores. Los trabajos y opiniones que se publican en la revista son de exclusiva responsabilidad de los autores. Los autores ceden a la Revista la propiedad de sus derechos de autor, para que los artículos sean publicados y difundidos en cualquier forma o medio, bajo licencia Licencia de Atribución Creative Commons.
