Ciencia y Sociedad, es una revista de publicación semestral. Sus números se publican en abril y septiembre de cada año. Se acoge a los criterios internacionales de ética, calidad, posicionamiento, periodicidad y disponibilidad de acceso abierto en línea (Open Access). Es una publicación científica editada y auspiciada desde 1975 por el Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) que en junio de 2017 migró todos sus archivos y se convirtió en una revista en línea. Ciencia y Sociedad tiene como objetivos difundir investigaciones en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades para fomentar los debates sobre problemáticas sociales y culturales a partir de la diversidad de enfoques y las sinergias entre disciplinas científicas. Es un medio con vocación multi e interdisciplinaria que recoge la producción científica de la República Dominicana, América Latina y el Caribe, además de resultados científicos que sobre estas regiones se generen en otros espacios académicos globales.
