The Canadian Journal of Statistics is the official journal of the Statistical Society of Canada. It is a generalist journal, welcoming innovative contributions to theoretical, methodological, applied or computational statistics as well as to applied probability. The editorial board includes distinguished and experienced statistical scientists with applied, computational, methodological, theoretical and probabilistic interests. The journal is free to read for Statistical Society of Canada members. There are three sections. For the Research section, papers should have an introduction which is accessible to a broad audience and makes a compelling case that an important problem is being tackled. The levels of innovation and impact are key in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts. Papers developing new methods should typically include real-data examples, as a route to establishing relevance and applicability. Appendices should be used for technical arguments, so that the main body of the paper is easy to follow. The Applications and Case Studies section features contributions motivated by a specific applied problem and its real-world context, rather than by the development or review of statistical methodology. Methodological novelty is welcome but not required. We seek submissions in which the application itself raises questions, challenges, or tensions that meaningfully shape the analysis. Submissions are expected to place the application at the forefront, going beyond generic examples, with the application and its context driving the narrative and the statistical methodology playing a supportive role in drawing clear lessons for statistical practice. However, papers centred on the routine application of standard statistical tools are typically better suited to a subject-area journal. The section welcomes:• Case studies that illustrate how modern statistical methods can be adapted and used creatively in new or unconventional applied contexts.• Innovative applications of modern statistical methods that yield scientific or practical insight through substantive engagement with an applied problem.• Descriptions of software tools or data resources that support modern statistical analysis, where their contribution is demonstrated through a carefully developed applied analysis showing why the tool or resource matters for statistical practice. For the Profile section, we welcome interviews with prominent Canadian statisticians, as well as submissions addressing aspec
