The editors also seek to maintain and enhance the position of the CJE as a major, internationally recognized journal by publishing papers on all economic topics -- theoretical and empirical -- and international in scope. Every year in its November issue, the CJE publishes the Presidential Address and Innis Lecture from the Annual Meetings of the CEA. In other issues, viewpoint articles that provide state-of-the art reviews on topics of general interest to economists are often published.
