Cadernos de Tradução é uma revista internacional dedicada aos Estudos da Tradução, fundada em 1996 por professores da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. O periódico publica artigos inéditos, resenhas, resenhas de tradução, entrevistas e artigos traduzidos. Atualmente, Cadernos de Tradução está vinculada à Pós-Graduação em Estudos da Tradução da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (PGET-UFSC) e representa um reconhecido fórum de discussão sobre pesquisas na área dos Estudos da Tradução. O periódico está indexada em diversas bases de dados nacionais e estrangeiras, avaliada como A1, no Qualis/Capes e classificada com Q1 na Scimago Journal & Country Rank. A Cadernos de Tradução faz parte da Coleção SciELO Brasil. O objetivo principal do periódico é publicar resultados de pesquisas no campo dos Estudos da Tradução e acompanhar o debate na área, cuja interdisciplinaridade lhe é inerente. Publica artigos, resenhas e entrevistas de alta qualidade, com efetiva contribuição científico-acadêmica para os Estudos da Tradução. Além disso, os critérios adotados para a seleção dos trabalhos são: ineditismo, originalidade, clareza, atualidade e relevância do estudo para a área. A partir de 2022, o periódico Cadernos de Tradução passou a publicar em fluxo contínuo seguindo os princípios da ciência aberta. Cadernos de Tradução encontra-se em formato exclusivamente on-line e trabalha em acesso aberto, não cobrando nenhum tipo de taxas para publicação. Cadernos de Tradução publica trabalhos em português, inglês, espanhol, francês, alemão e italiano.
