Foco e Escopo Revista acadêmica internacional (periodicidade semestral) que publica trabalhos referentes à educação, tendo como premissa uma discussão alinhada a temas e a referenciais do campo da educação popular. Aceitamos pesquisas originais (que ainda não tenham sido publicadas em outros periódicos), compreendendo artigos, resenhas, relatos de experiência e entrevistas com pesquisadores reconhecidos pela produção científica/intelectual. Em nossos volumes, além de números abertos, também publicamos edições temáticas (dossiês) organizadas por pesquisadores da área de educação. A revista difunde conteúdo cientifico de acesso aberto (avaliado por pares e indexado) direcionado, sobretudo, a docentes e a pesquisadores em diversos estágios de formação (iniciação científica, mestrado, doutorado e pós-doutorado), publicando contribuições teóricas e trabalhos empíricos dedicados a analisar e a subsidiar políticas públicas educacionais, ressaltando o debate em educação popular na América Latina. Processo de Avaliação pelos Pares O sistema de avaliação e o processamento dos julgamentos de mérito percorrem quatro etapas: 1. Desk review dos editores e da equipe editorial, verificando os critérios de originalidade, a adequação ao escopo do periódico, o cumprimento das normas editoriais e a política antiplágio. Todos os trabalhos são avaliados pelos editores chefes antes de serem encaminhados aos pareceristas, tendo em vista a adequação ao escopo, a saber, a educação popular. Apenas os trabalhos aprovados no desk review são encaminhados aos avaliadores ad hoc. 2. Os trabalhos são submetidos a pareceristas ad hoc para análise especializada de conteúdo. 3. Caso haja pareceres divergentes em relação ao mesmo texto, a contribuição será encaminhada a um terceiro avaliador ou será analisada por membros da equipe editorial e do conselho consultivo. 4. Para contribuições aprovadas com modificações indicadas pelos pareceristas, as alterações feitas pelos(as) autores(as) são cotejadas com o conteúdos dos pareceres pela equipe editor
