„Biuletyn Uniejowski” jest interdyscyplinarnym rocznikiem, wydawanym od 2012 r. przez Uniwersytet Łódzki przy współpracy Urzędu Miasta i Gminy Uniejów. Profil merytoryczny „Biuletynu Uniejowskiego” określa tematyka związana z regionem uniejowskim, rozumianym nie tylko w wymiarze współczesnym, ale także z uwzględnieniem historycznej roli i zasięgu oddziaływania Uniejowa. Czasopismo adresowane jest do środowiska akademickiego, praktyków zaangażowanych w realizację polityki społeczno-gospodarczej, a także do społeczności lokalnej. Zakres tematyczny publikowanych prac obejmuje zarówno problematykę środowiska przyrodniczego i antropogenicznego, jak i zagadnienia rozwoju społeczno-ekonomicznego oraz szeroko rozumiane dziedzictwo kulturowe. Celem czasopisma jest zaprezentowanie przede wszystkim problematyki środowiska przyrodniczego i antropogenicznego, zagadnień rozwoju społeczno-ekonomicznego oraz szeroko rozumianego dziedzictwa kulturowego regionu uniejowskiego. Ponadto periodyk aspiruje do bycia swoistym forum wymiany poglądów poprzez zachęcanie autorów i czytelników do prowadzenia polemik i dyskusji na temat oddziaływania tego regionu na pozostałe obszary kraju. Wydawnictwo, będące efektem współpracy środowisk naukowych reprezentujących różne dziedziny wiedzy, stanowi ważne forum wymiany informacji i poglądów w zakresie interdyscyplinarnej wiedzy o regionie uniejowskim.
