Foco e Escopo A Bioscience Journal é uma revista eletrônica multidisciplinar destinada a publicação de artigos científicos nas áreas de Ciências Agrárias, Ciências Biológicas e Ciências da Saúde. Sua missão é divulgar novos conhecimentos, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento da Ciência, no país e no mundo. A revista é publicada bimestralmente, em língua inglesa. As opiniões e conceitos emitidos nos trabalhos publicados são de exclusiva responsabilidade dos seus autores. Processo de Avaliação pelos Pares Os trabalhos serão previamente avaliados quanto a forma e adequação da contribuição a linha editorial da revista. Serão priorizadas contribuições originais, que deverão ser acompanhadas de declaração de revisão da língua inglesa, feita por especialista na área, a cargo do(s) autor(es). Os manuscritos aprovados na fase inicial serão encaminhados para três revisores ad hoc, indicados por um dos editores associados, que darão pareceres conclusivos sobre o trabalho. Cada manuscrito será revisado por Doutores com reconhecida competência na área abordada pelo estudo. Esse processo será realizado pelo sistema blind review, garantindo sigilo absoluto, tanto para a identidade dos autores como dos revisores. Nas situações em que houver qualquer conflito de interesses, o manuscrito será encaminhado a novos revisores. Para ser publicado, o trabalho deverá receber pareceres favoráveis de pelo menos dois consultores ad hoc e do Editor Associado responsável pelo seu acompanhamento. A Equipe Editorial se reserva o direito de promover as mudanças de forma necessária a publicação do artigo, que passará a ser propriedade do periódico. Política de Acesso Livre Esta revista proporciona acesso publico a todo seu conteúdo, seguindo o princípio que tornar gratuito o acesso a pesquisas gera um maior intercâmbio global de conhecimento. Tal acesso está associado a um crescimento da leitura e citação do trabalho de um autor.
