Aims, scope and focus

Biologics is published by MDPI AG. By OpenAlex counts of its recent articles, its largest topics are SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 Research, Biosimilars and Bioanalytical Methods and COVID-19 Clinical Research Studies, together about 23.6% of its articles. Its main subfields are Immunology. (generated from OpenAlex topic counts and CAS ranking data)

AimsBiologics (ISSN 2673-8449) provides an advanced forum for findings on all aspects of biologics derived from both novel and established biotechnologies. It publishes reviews, research papers, and communications in all areas of biologicals and at the interface of related disciplines. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. Electronic files or software regarding the full details of the calculation and experimental procedure – if impossible to publish in a normal way – can be deposited as supplementary material.ScopeBiologics are products of living systems. This journal addresses all aspects of the therapeutic use of biologics, as well as companion diagnostics meant to determine patients most likely to benefit from these agents. Biologics include synthetic products that are chemically similar to the natural product, such as modified recombinant proteins.MDPI Publication Ethics Statement MDPI is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). MDPI takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. MDPI takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications.Book ReviewsAuthors and publishers are encouraged to send review copies of their recent related books to the following address.
