«Безопасность техногенных и природных систем» — рецензируемый научно-практический журнал, который создан в целях освещения результатов исследований и реальных достижений по актуальным вопросам машиностроения, техносферной безопасности, современной металлургии и материаловедения. В журнале освещаются проблемы развития фундаментальных исследований и инженерных разработок в ряде важнейших областей технических наук. Одним из главных направлений деятельности журнала является интеграция в международное информационное пространство. «Безопасность техногенных и природных систем» публикует оригинальные статьи, нормативные и дискуссионные материалы, в которых излагаются результаты научных исследований и практических разработок в различных областях техносферной безопасности, включая безопасность труда, пожарную и экологическую безопасность. В журнале также обсуждаются проблемы совершенствования широкого круга машин, агрегатов и технологических процессов, в том числе наземных транспортно-технологических средств и комплексов. Наряду с освещением отечественных и общемировых трендов в указанных областях, уделяется внимание исследованиям и разработкам по металловедению, материаловедению и порошковой металлургии. Все статьи публикуются на русском и английском языке и проходят процедуру рецензирования.
