Die "Berichte über Landwirtschaft" veröffentlichen wissenschaftliche Originalbeiträge agrarpolitische Stellungnahmen Berichte über national und international bedeutsame Tagungen Buchbesprechungen aus allen Bereichen des Agrarsektors, die bisher über kein anderes Medium publiziert wurden. Dabei haben solche Beiträge Vorrang, die aktuelle Problemstellungen aus den Fachgebieten der Erzeugungs-, Ernährungs- und Marktpolitik, der Gesellschafts- und Sozialpolitik sowie der Entwicklung des ländlichen Raums aber auch Fragen des Umweltschutzes und der Landschaftspflege behandeln.
