Foco e Escopo BABEL: Revista Eletrônica de Línguas e Literaturas Estrangeiras (ISSN: 2238-5754) é um periódico acadêmico, revisado por pares, editado pela Universidade do Estado da Bahia (UNEB), Departamento de Linguística, Literatura e Artes, do campus universitário da cidade de Alagoinhas. O periódico recebe artigos originais e inéditos escritos em Língua Portuguesa, Inglesa ou Francesa, com temática voltada aos estudos linguísticos, literários e pedagógicos, inscritos na área de Línguas e Literaturas Estrangeiras Modernas; Estudos da Tradução; e Linguística Aplicada ao ensino de Línguas Estrangeiras. Os textos submetidos devem ter a autoria de professores/pesquisadores com titulação de mestre ou doutores vinculados a Instituições de Ensino Superior; estudantes de graduação sob orientação e supervisão docente; mestrandos e doutorandos vinculados a Programas de Pós-Graduação stricto sensu. Além deste público, aceita-se textos submetidos por docentes vinculados à Rede de Educação Básica Brasileira, com titulação de Especialista, Mestre ou Doutor. A partir do ano de 2021, BABEL: Revista Eletrônica de Línguas e Literaturas Estrangeiras adotará o sistema de publicação contínua. As submissões devem ser realizadas exclusivamente a partir de cadastro no sistema da Revista. Todo o processo editorial ocorre no âmbito desta plataforma e deve ser acompanhado pelos autores(as). As produções serão recebidas em fluxo contínuo, atendendo a política de cada seção. BABEL: Revista Eletrônica de Línguas e Literaturas Estrangeiras não cobra nenhum tipo de taxa de processamento ou submissão aos seus autores. Todo seu conteúdo está disponibilizado em plataforma de Acesso Aberto, sem custos aos leitores e autores.
