Averrous is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that focuses on promoting medical sciences derived from basic, clinical, community, and public health research to advance integrated knowledge in all aspects of human health. This journal publishes original articles, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses conducted in accordance with internationally recognized reporting guidelines, such as PRISMA and other evidence-based review standards. Brief communications addressing medical topics, recent developments in diagnostic procedures, treatments, or other health-related issues important to the development of healthcare systems are also accepted. Correspondence regarding articles published in this journal is welcome.
